Refund Policy
Last updated: December 25, 2025
Techno Minds IP Solutions is committed to providing high-quality intellectual property services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and the procedures for requesting a refund.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase, as it governs all refund requests for our services. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to handle all refund requests fairly and transparently while protecting both our clients and our business interests.
This policy applies to all services provided by Techno Minds IP Solutions, including but not limited to patent filing, trademark registration, design registration, copyright services, IP consulting, and technology licensing services.
General Refund Principles
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the nature of the service, the stage of completion, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Government fees paid to regulatory authorities (such as the Indian Patent Office, Trademark Registry, etc.) are generally non-refundable once the application has been filed, as these fees are paid directly to government bodies.
Professional fees may be eligible for partial or full refunds depending on the circumstances, as outlined in the specific service sections below.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing within the specified timeframes and include relevant documentation to support the request.
Refund Eligibility by Service Type
Patent Services
If a patent application has not been filed with the patent office, you may be eligible for a full refund of professional fees, minus any work already completed (such as prior art searches or drafting).
Once a patent application has been filed, government fees are non-refundable. Professional fees may be eligible for partial refund if services are cancelled before substantial work is completed.
Refunds for patent prosecution services (office action responses, hearings) are generally not available once work has commenced, as these services are time-sensitive and work-intensive.
Trademark Services
If a trademark application has not been filed, you may be eligible for a full refund of professional fees, minus any completed work (such as trademark searches).
Once a trademark application is filed, government fees are non-refundable. Professional fees may be eligible for partial refund if cancellation occurs before substantial prosecution work begins.
Trademark renewal fees are non-refundable once the renewal application has been submitted to the registry.
Design and Copyright Services
Refunds for design registration and copyright services follow similar principles: government fees are non-refundable once filed, while professional fees may be partially refundable if cancellation occurs early in the process.
Consulting and Advisory Services
Consulting services are typically billed on an hourly or project basis. Refunds for completed consulting work are generally not available, as the service has been delivered.
If a consulting engagement is cancelled before work commences, a full refund may be available. If cancelled after work has begun, refunds will be prorated based on work completed.
